Zakir Hussain Rose Garden or just known by its name Rose Garden, is one of the most stunning botanic gardens in Chandigarh. The garden is named in honor of the the former president of India the late Mr. Zakir Hussain, was constructed in the year 1967, with the help of Chandigarh's Chief Commissioner Dr. M.S. Randhawa. The garden was the product the result of Dr. Randhawa's fascination with gardening and botany. It covers thirty acres with more than 1600 species of roses, and more than 50000 rosebushes, this is the biggest rose garden in Asia.
